Thank you for voicing your opinion although I am not sure what your specific point is. The Governor is absolutely correct and the waste of "tax payers money" is tragic. Illegal is illegal. The United States is not the entire world. The United States is not and should not take on the role of "world policeman" and this issue is germane specifically to the issue of States Rights vs the Federal government. There is no cause to believe that this law is targeted at a specific race or is against legal immigration. The mahority may not always be right but they need to be herd and respected. Change is painful. To allow "illegals" to continue to break the law is wrong and affront to all those many Americans who fought and died to preserve the freedoms we are rapidly loosing today. I do not agree with you and your answer when you say we all say NO. This is not a majority vs minority issue. It is about perserving our country and the laws that govern our behavior with in it.

I hope that every American, regardless of where he lives, will stop and examine his conscience about this and other related incidents. This Nation was founded by men of many nations and backgrounds. It was founded on the principle that all men are created equal, and that the rights of every man are diminished when the rights of one man are threatened. All of us ought to have the right to be treated as he would wish to be treated, as one would wish his children to be treated, but this is not the case.

I know the proponents of this law say that the majority approves of this law, but the majority is not always right. Would women or non-whites have the vote if we listen to the majority of the day, would the non-whites have equal rights (and equal access to churches, housing, restaurants, hotels, retail stores, schools, colleges and yes water fountains) if we listen to the majority of the day? We all know the answer, a resounding, NO!

Today we are committed to a worldwide struggle to promote and protect the rights of all who wish to be free. In a time of domestic crisis men of good will and generosity should be able to unite regardless of party or politics and do what is right, not what is just popular with the majority. Some men comprehend discrimination by never have experiencing it in their lives, but the majority will only understand after it happens to them.

This is a made-up article, originally posted on April 1. It is an April Fool's article. The AP did not write it. Occidental did not release any transcripts. No case is pending before the Supreme Court, which has dismissed all the birther cases.

Also, the claim that Pakistan was on the No-travel list of the US State Department in 1981 is false. Any US citizen could visit using a US passport.
